The Doll

Upon the consumption of another's blood (one drop minimum) a temporary supernatural bond is created between the two of you, the strength of the bond dependent on the amount of their blood you consumed. For one hour after, if you sustain any damage or injury, it is mirrored in your victim. Likewise, sensations such as freezing cold or heat are also replicated, as well as intense pleasure. You can obtain this blood yourself (biting, cutting and licking the knife etc.) or it can be fed to you, but it must be relatively fresh - a sample no older than an hour. The supernatural bond lasts for one hour, or until you taste the blood of another.

Long Description: People have no resilience anymore. You can watch your own body writhe and moan with fascination, you like to see the effects of it in a mirror, all with shortened breath and a hitched focus. Too much trauma has given you a glamorously deformed enjoyment of pain; certainly you're quite resistant to it. They made sure of that.

You've fondled your own twitching intestine, once, because you wanted the other person to feel it. You wanted your abuser to know that through the blood-blur and din of their screams, not only do you know what you're doing but that you enjoyed it. You want them to see that their horror only increases your pleasure - that their situation is hopeless. That's the dirty truth, the obscene heart of sadism: your victim's hopelessness serviced your joy.

You're not sure what came first, the powers or the trauma - it started so young for you and the supernatural world found you first, perhaps - but eventually you learned that with someone else's blood, you can hurt them. You can hurt them by hurting yourself. And, well, since they were hurting you anyway, why not pay back with interest? Torture... sadism, masochism, it's all the same really. It’s people too obsessed with their own power - or lack of power.

You possess the ability to heal with far greater speed and efficiency than a regular human. Rupturing most organs will not kill you, but you should roleplay the debilitating effects accordingly, and should any more damage be taken to that area it could be fatal for the rest of that night until the following day. Minor wounds knit back together within a few hours, and even a broken bone might only trouble you until you awaken the next day, by which time it will be tender but functional.

Mechanics: Drink a measure of someone's blood. Just a drop and you can inflict minor injuries or pleasures upon yourself and have it recreated in the victim's own body. A half pint or more and you can mirror across to their body and experience the greatest of pains, pleasures or physical sensations that you could feasibly draw out of your own body. (Please do negotiate this with the intended victim; they have ultimate choice over what injuries you roleplay together, and especially in the case of simulated pleasure you must have an enthusiastic yes to planning a scene.)

Drop out of roleplay and pause time by saying "Off-game" to the intended victim whose blood you have consumed, and add to that by saying "Human power - The Doll." You can then negotiate a direction for the roleplay to take. E.g. "I have some ideas but it's your choice what we go with ultimately. Would you prefer your character to be affected by pleasure or pain?"

It is recommended first to ask if they have any particular subject areas or triggers they would wish to avoid. For The Doll's power, it is always recommended to have the victim suggest ideas unless they are enthusiastic to hearing yours. This just provides an added layer of safety on our usual check-ins, given the mature nature of this power. You are encouraged to create a small collection of ideas for how you could roleplay this with people, but first check if the player 1. Has any subject areas they want to avoid and 2. Has any ideas of their own first; theirs is prioritised, as long as you too are comfortable and keen to roleplay it.
